What Have I Been Up to Lately?

I'm glad you asked!
because it's been a lot :)

We're officially nineteen months into my "big-time influencer" era, and while the follower count and financial gains haven't quite caught up to the vision board yet, I'm still here—and I'm still creating. It turns out that consistency (and, let's be real, content) is the real challenge. But I'm learning slowly but surely.
Writing has always been my top priority, and that hasn't changed. I've spent the past few months writing, outlining, and editing like a woman possessed. In the midst of it all, I launched a new site, but this one is actually useful. I started The Laundry Room, and the first five chapters are available for download now. It's raw, weird, and a little unpolished—but it's real. And I like it.
I haven't posted Noel Book Club or The Traffic Jam just yet—or even finished episode two of Safe House—but I did officially debut my first Kindle Vella project, Break in Case of Emergency. So yes, I think that makes me a real writer now. Right?
And that's pretty much about it.
Here's the truth: this is hard. Like, really hard. I'm broke-broke. Since June, this passion project has been costing me more than it's bringing in. But there's an upside. I'm back in school. I've signed up for Fiverr and Composely to earn some side income while I keep chasing this ever-growing dream of mine.
I also started a YouTube automation page—Krate Raiders—because, sure, that'll be easier. (Sarcasm fully intended.) The plan? Write articles for Medium and turn them into video essays. I figured in between writing and creating, I could kill three birds with one big ass stone.
I'm still experimenting with OnlyFans, too—for research purposes, of course. I'm working through old baggage and self-doubt, so I've been putting myself out there slowly. In the meantime, I've been working out, steering clear of scales, and bingeing makeup tutorials like my life depends on it.
And now, that's pretty much it.
The rest of the month will be dedicated to promoting Break in Case of Emergency and building momentum for my YouTube channel. I'll also be releasing the first three episodes of YAMPS soon and finally getting my Patreon up and running to support The Prelude.
If you want to follow along with the chaos (and the glow-up), you can find me on TikTok at @wel2scaryhours. And if you already listened to episode one… thank you.
If you didn't?
Well… could you?
Please?
